Mariah was still in the tabloids before TEOM and she ruled the 90's, Tina was a complete flop in the 70's. And let's not get into touring because Tina owns that area.

let's be honest, big comebacks tend to happen by those who were respected and loved by the general public.

J. Lo has had a ton of success, but nothing in the line of what Madonna achieved. Yes, past love does help with big comebacks, along with great music. No one was ever invested in J. Lo on that level, so she's even lucky to see what she did with that Pitbull feature.
