GMA made the song close to top 100. It did rise but it had no radio support to help it go up more. Is that hard to understand?

OK, I wasn't aware the song had risen that much. I remember seeing a post in this thread before the performance and it was in the upper 300s.
However, when a song is in that region of the chart its position is very volatile so it's perfectly plausible that it dropped to approximately 500 before the promotion.
Honestly, I think the lack of radio support was mostly due to the extremely negative response that IRLY got from pop listeners. Pop radio programmers likely remembered those atrocious callouts and decided that RAWM wasn't likely to be received favorably either. I don't think that's the most rational justification for not playing the song, but if I had to venture a guess I think that's the most likely reason it completely flopped on radio. You can't blame Interscope, because the pop radio adds date (July 21) was well-timed; you ideally want to build up some spins before you promote a song, and it did get a push to pop radio.
Like i said, I'm curious to see what the callouts for RAWM would have been.
