Carly's appearance on Alan Carr is set to be aired September 18! E•MO•TION will be released September 25th in Europe so she may be doing some promo in some European countries.
This came on 3 times in work today & a girl I work with said "this came on yesterday, who sings it?" and I said "Carly Rae Jepsen" and she had a blank stare on her face. I had to say "Call Me Maybe, I Really Like You?" for her to go "aw her!"
Radio support here seems to be getting stronger, along with its iTunes position. It also is getting decent rotation on music video channels but not as much as IRLY did.
I'm genuinely pressed it was pulled by Interscope. I know it wasn't doing anything at Pop radio but this song is too good to be ignored. I hope they push this again at a later point in the future now that it seems like it will turn into a worldwide hit.
I doubt Interscope will push this era anymore. They spent all the money of the album on IRLY RAWM didn't deserve to flop.
I hope IRLY dies soon in Japan so they can start promoting RAWM there, the album is selling there with a 6 month old single. It still hasn't been released there as single yet

I almost understand Scooter's priorities. Carly is going to have more chance of having a hit in Japan or the UK, BUT the fact he literally hasn't even bothered to try with this, is something else. Aggravating.
