You seem to think that the people in this thread are letting comments from people like Liam objectively control their lives. The fact of the matter is, this entire planet is a heteronormative environment, where homo or bisexuality is held as a mean of degrading and holding back the LGBT from receiving the same rights as heterosexuals. We don't choose to let people control our lives, because if we could, we wouldn't. The less people in this world that believe that homosexuality isn't normal, okay, whatever, the easier our lives are. That is why so many people are up in arms over his comments.

Its funny when people say this is an overreaction when it is the same argument many Russians use to discriminate, humiliate, and kill gays...as well as in other countries. Maybe some of yall dont find it offensive due to having a privelage of living in a country where tolerance of lgbt persons is higher. However, I would love some one to tell you that you are having your kids taken away, losing your job, etc. because it doesnt support traditional values. Would love to see how you would react then.
