It's been said to you many times already. To people who hate pop music, Britney is, was, and always has been the epitome of how vacuous and manufactured pop music is. I'd say she's a pop icon, but she won't go down in history as someone who's respected and acclaimed. JT's universally adored, I know so many people who went to see him live.
Alas, Kanye West is still the most influential modern artist. Poor others!
