Yeah exactly, that would be the ideal situation since that way B6 won't have it's votes split with the joint album.

I honestly don't care all that much for the Grammys, especially when it's meant to be a very controversial and hard hitting album that focuses on black themes. The voters will either be indifferent or hateful towards it anyway if that's the case

Idk if it's just me but her era seems very small this time sans the album sales. Plus 1984 was huge and kendrick/the weeknd managed to snag like 3 Grammys

Beyoncé just needs to focus on quality not the perfect timing of her release to get Grammys. It's not like Adele's album is THAT good, I know the GP and the voters are going to love it, but imagine she BEATS Adele. That would be something and frankly she should be confident in her work on it's own not in relation to who released what.

Yes, at the rate she's going, she's already a legend in most people's hearts, she is gonna be a bonafide one very shortly. If she continues to release good music, then she'll be eventually awarded one I'm sure.

Tbh, right now Bey seems absolutely fearless when it comes to competition. She doesn't seem to care if Rih released a week before her or whether her album will have to compete against Adele. And tbh, I feel like she could be the only one to rly defeat her, especially in case B6 is better than ST (i dont want to jinx it). I mean they know they snubbed her, 25 is weaker than 21 and if B6 is better than ST, I can see her being an absolute contender against Adele.

I don't think that many people realize just quite how big the controversy surrounding Beyoncé and Formation really is -- including myself! Like, we are literally witnessing today what will someday be remembered as a watershed in the fight against racism in the US. It isn't like she just received a weeks worth of backlash over something such as being "overly" sexual in a video. People are still talking now, going on three weeks later, and so far are showing no signs of quieting down anytime soon. She has literally ripped rugs off of the floor in which covered so many swept-under topics/issues that people have been trying to avoid for years and years now -- all without saying barely a word. I don't think I ever realized just how powerful and influential Bey can be when/if she decides to be.

She really is cemented her status this era, she proves the haters and doubters of her impact, influence and legacy, while also being innovative and get people talking for all the right reasons. The way Formation got released and the fact she got the ball rolling on a subject that she comes and goes and now has the full spotlight for a while now. I'm so damn anxious to see what this era will lead to, with a supposed movie and an other album also speculated to be released this year, she will outdo herself even more than we all probably imagine.
