What's My Name? is a huge hit and it really impacted everywhere.

You can't deny the influence it showed, that's the point of this award.

Adele is sweeping the Grammys anyway. RITD & 21 are gonna win everything. No use worrying about it. LTWYL was huge everywhere too and it got nothing. Adele is more suited to the adults that vote for that ****. But hey, I don't really follow the Grammys like other people do here so that's just my take.

So I'm pretty excited for this album.. I think she should let WFL ride out through December and release a second single right before XMAS to get an extra boost for the holidays

They should release the song specifically to Urban around that time, and then to Pop (if it's a crossover) shortly after. But that all depends on if WFL becomes a big radio hit. The Pop updates are so-so right now. I'd be shocked if they didn't release an urban track by the time the album drops, though.

Yeah I agree I guess... WFL isn't doing bad either i think its best when songs are gradual growers they have greater longetivity...and EVERYONE is talking about that video right now

No, I think second single should be released right around album release.

Either the day off, or right before.

It would be good to send it to radio a few days before the album release, then release it with the album on itunes so people will be more aware of "Talk That Talk"

I have faith. I mean it should really explode on Pop soon. #1 on itunes, video buzz, and not a lot of tough Pop competition at the moment. But yeah, it is doing pretty well...better than I thought it would do after it didn't hit #1 on itunes initially. She needs to stick with good video concepts from now on bc clearly they can have a major impact on a song.

Anyways, catching up on the conversation, I want a Rihanna/Jessie J collaboration. No, Jessie isn't a "legend", but in the UK she is a big deal and I honestly believe that a collaboration would easily go #1, thus earning Rihanna another UK #1... her seventh?

I would love a "Do it Like a Dude" type track between them, it would fit in with Talk That Talk so well.

Jessie J wrote DILAD for Rihanna, but Jessie's label made her keep it for herself. I would like to know how Rihanna sounds on a gritty track like that (even moreso than RR material) and Jessie pulled it off so well that I just want to hear them both on the one track. It will smash.

LOL yah. She can write for the queen but I just dont want her on the song. TBH Im praying for a solo Rihanna album with no features whatsoever. If she gonna do features it has to be with legends and people who would never expect her to be working with.
