And Kylie is influential because all the girls are doing their makeup like hers. Ain't nobody trying to look like a busted meth head, a pimply balloon, a fridge, a clown, or whatever all these pop girls look like.

Not exactly. If you gave Kim the same team you gave Katy for example, do you think she would put on just as decent of a show as Katy does? Or Gaga? I don't think so. So while it is pretty much 40+ year old men behind the success of these popstars, they've got to have something that separates the actual stars from the reality stars.

But at the end of the day, stanning is pointless lol. Just like this discussion and everything else we say on this forum

Plus, when people say Kylie is influential style-wise they don't mean on the runways in Milan. They mean the tons of teen girls that look to her for style, hair and make up inspiration. The fact that she has more of an impact on the GP than their has-been faves

Gaga, okay. But Katy's performances are nothing to write home about
She may be able to carry a tune better than Kim but yeah, I do think Kim could walk back and forth on stage in different outfits, jump around and interact with her million dollar sets and dancers if she truly wanted to. Would she sound as good as Katy? Probably not. But I'm sure she could lip sync, isn't that what Britney does now anyway (I'm talking about current Britney not 1999 Britney)?
