I feel like it would be a TIDAL exclusive (both streaming and purchasing) from a Thursday/Friday to a Monday, and afterwards it would still be exclusive for streaming but it would be purchasable from all digital retailers from the Monday.

Has there ever been a TIDAL single/album release that has been streaming only? I think they've always been available for purchase (or free like Formation).

I mean i can see why she made Formation TIDAL exlusive, seeing how she doesn't give 2 shiits about her singles... But albums are her thing and i don't think she would mess up her album release like that

Most of Columbia were not even in the know on the surprise itunes release....so I don't believe that they have much say on if Beyonce puts this on Tidal. Columbia is more of a distributor....Parkwood has been listed on her albums now since 4 & ST.

i dont think Beyonce cares about "messing up" anything...NOW we look back favorably on ST. but THEN...she released everything AT ONCE with no notice, no single, & only 3 days of tracking time. that was just as careless back then...but it worked in her favor...thats the only reason we applaud it today. but it was just as faulty as the idea of releasing on Tidal.

I really want her to try a tina turner esque rock uptempo and ballad

I hope she continues female anthems.

While I like the formation video more than the song it almost feels like she is going to give an album taking a stance on multi layered issues from politics to social issues to relationships etc.

Essentially what i wanted the PinkPrint to be pre 2014: elements of a woman taking a stance incorporating intro/retrospection, aspirational/inspirational, motivational anthems with statements represented many elements from the female perspective and mix it with some fun high energy songs so that it's not all too serious.

I nice blend.

I am so here for Beyonce taking a stance and really addressing issues. I encourage this for her and hope this era goes well for her

Since this one source said sth about a rap-ballad, I actually thought it about and I could totally see that. A nice piano instrumental, Bey rapping with her raspy voice, talking about injustice, the wish for equality etc, then a great hook which leads straight into the chorus which is sung.

I want an iconic controversial moment that will be talked about for decades. Her walking into a Republican convention wearing the brightest rainbow cape flowing like a wedding gown with dozens of queer people following her in various colors of the community as she's singing the song glaring down all the politicians as gay men and trans women vogue down the aisles. I want the Republicans on their knees begging for mercy and confessing their sins. I want Congress to meet that night and for the new laws to be put in effect by the next morning.
