As for ATRL, Navy was never accepted with open arms here on ATRL until the Loud era. Navy were 'the pits' during Rated R. All stanbases except a small portion of members who was human, were #teamBrown during Rated R. That was a blow to Navy itself. TRUST. Unless you experienced it yourself, fighting back and forth to wipe away the dirts they threw on Rihanna, you will never understand. Honestly, I never expected the Navy that came after Loud to understand. What makes us different here is experience. The best thing you never had.
Before ATRL, Navy as a stanbase, were confined in our own threads discussing Rihanna. It's nothing like what you're seeing today. TRUST.
As I said, you can listen to him as you like. That's your rights. I didn't quote anyone when I said that and since you replied and butthurt thinking I was talking about you, I might as well just respond to it.
As for the gifs, nobody ever had a problem with me posting the same gifs, and I have been doing it for 2 ****ing years already. I simply don't care what you think of it.

This post makes it evident that you take ATRL way too seriously and you think that just because being a Rihanna stan was difficult during the Rated R era because everyone was pro-Chris and anti-Rihanna on here means that liking Chris is wrong. It's simply bizarre that you would think that just because of something that happened to you on ATRL and I don't understand that at all. I like you, but this is just mental.

By definition, a mistake is an incorrect act or decision and that is exactly what Chris did. Just because it was a severely incorrect act/decision doesn't mean that it wasn't a mistake in the long run.

Did you see the video of Fox News having a go at Chris and saying how bad it is that The Today Show gave him his own GMA summer concert, and how it is "rewarding bad behaviour"? It angered me so much that people treat the incident as if it happened yesterday. What REALLY mad me mad was that Fox News reporters were interacting with Chris' fans while they were waiting for the concert, and Fox News were showing the fans TMZ pictures of Rihanna's beaten face and asking "Does this picture bother you?" Some of the fans were answering, like you pointed out, that Rihanna started the incident and one of the fans even said "She should have gotten out of the car". I mean, seriously?
I am actually really happy that both Rihanna and Chris have regained normality in their lives, and are once again successful on the charts. (Not that Rihanna really had trouble on the charts in the aftermath, but we got 5 more #1's since then).
I honestly haven't seen enough of his acceptance speeches to notice any ungratefulness, but I am going to take your word for it.
Why thankyou! Yeah, I sometimes post outside of the Loud thread, mostly in The Lounge. The Loud thread is my ATRL home, though, haha. So I do most of my posting in here.

Fox News is such a joke. It's just annoying to me, though, that people can't forgive and move on. I'm not saying that we should forget (obviously not), but it's not like we need to hold any unnecessary resentments. What I hate more than anything is when Rihanna stans act like you're in the wrong or that you dislike Rihanna less than them if they hate Chris if you defend or like him.
A big example of it was at the BET Awards. His acceptance speech was basically "I guess this is cool but I just make music for my fans so thanks to them". It came across as if he really didn't care that he had just won an award. I would have been super angry if I had been one of the other nominees and lost to someone who gave an acceptance speech like that.
I've used the Loud thread more often simply because I love how much calmer it is in comparison to the rest of ATRL but I'm trying not to use it too much so that I don't stop using the rest of the site.

The only thing I take seriously is my love for Rihanna. I don't know if you're a boy or girl but judging from your posts, I believe you're a girl since the faggs don't go around butthurt like you do.
When I chose a fave, she's the one for my whole life, and if that's mental, so be it.

ATRL is the only medium I use to interact with fellow Navy and to get the latest news on Rihanna, and I wanna keep it that way. Yes, I take it seriously for that. **** off with your butthurt posts, I ain't using your bandwidth to browse it.

I don't have a problem with Chris Brown fans. Do I personally like him? No. I think he's a criminal who belongs behind bars and haven't listened to a song of his since February of 2009. However, if people want to like him and his music, who cares. Let them be.
I will however say that "Chrihanna" fans are the ones I cannot tolerate. If you stan for Rihanna, great. If you also like Chris on top of that, awesome. It's when people (and I know it happened recently in here, but I don't remember who) say some **** like they should get back together is what I absolutely find disgusting. What he did to her is never acceptable and a woman should never go back to that, especially when she has millions of people looking up to her. Especially from someone who claims to love Rihanna, I find those kind of comments really offensive.
I also dont think it's fair to say this heathen "made a mistake." A mistake is when you forget to set your alarm, or accidentally backing into a car. This is also true tea. Even if they do end up loving each other again, it really is not acceptable for them to get back together. As you and Rihanna have both said, with so many young girls looking up to her, it would be sending out the wrong message to get back with the abuser. I know Rihanna was saying "I am not your kid's parent!" when it came to the Man Down video stuff, but I think even Rihanna knows that this is the one thing she does kinda have to be a "parent" about.
I have never been in this situation the Chris and Rihanna have been in, and assume that no one reading this has been either, so thinking of it as a mistake is very subjective. I have no idea what it is like to be in that state of rage, where you can't control yourself anymore. Rihanna said in her first interview about the incident, that "it was like there was no soul in his eyes". That kinda makes me think that Chris may have not really known what he is doing to her, being in that complete mind set and losing awareness of what he was doing. As I said, this particular topic is very subjective, so disagreeing with me is completely expected and also accepted. We just don't know what its like.

Do you have any logical explanation of the thing that might have caused that coz I think it was rage and hatred.

Yes! Exactly!
Oh wow, really? Thats not a very good acceptance speech at all, haha. I would have been angry too, it almost sounds like he was expecting to win.
I have noticed that you have been commenting more in here. Its good, you provide a more serious kinda depth to the discussion, like Harry does (when he gets passionate about a topic).
And its nice to see the LOUD thread alive these days.

I will save you girls from such repetitive arguments and let this be the thread for only the Chrianna stans.
I am not here for such ignorance coming from the Navy so I might as well just say goodbye to this thread.

I don't see it as "hatred". He loved Rihanna. Rage? Definitely. He was obviously distressed and not sure how to deal with the situation he was put under (apparently the story is that Rihanna asked him about texts he was receiving from someone else) and so he lashed out violently.
What he didn't wasn't right, and we will never know what truely happened. But I really don't think that Chris would just lash out for no reason. Am I saying that Rihanna is partly to blame? No. I think that Rihanna asked him a simple question and he became distressed and panicked. Emotions are powerful things, and as I have been saying, we will never know what happened, what they were feeling, what they were saying. We have the general story. Its just the little details that are left up to opinion, and what people think happened that night will differ.
