I'm guess it's aliens, which seems kind of stupid. And since Jessica is apparently trying a German accent, I'm assuming it has to do with the real-life controversy/rumors about German scientists linked to aliens & alien communication back in the 1950s. True. The season certainly delivered on the camp factor (as well as acting for the most part) but never thought to give itself a plot or horror - aside from the odd throwbacks to LaLaurie. Despite it having "horror" in its title.

Yeah, this. There may have been plot holes in the previous seasons, but they came full circle (Especially in Asylum, even though I'm not the biggest fan of it) and I was distracted by how amazing it was.

Coven just didn't do it. It had the best imagery of the three seasons, and that amazed me. In horror, or at least, the type they're displaying in American Horror Story, imagery is key a lot of the time. The large, white open spaces of the house, Madison's wardrobe, the burning stake area, along with a lot of other things, all added an amazing feeling to the season, but then the plot fell flat.

Based on the teaser, "Initiation", I was in love, because the imagery was on POINT. I wasn't aware it was gonna be such an empty ending.

The finale wasn't all that bad. Murder House's finale was worse. Fiona coming back saved it though. Overall, this was my least favorite season. It was too campy for my liking and the tumblr bait writing didn't do this talented cast any justice.

I can't at just how useless Kyle turned out to be. His only purpose was pretty much to create a fued between Madison and Zoe. It seemed like Ryan just wanted to throw in Evan Peters but couldn't figure out a proper direction for him.

Whatever happened with Cordelia's pregnancy attempt?

Wait, this is true. In my version of the finale, I was gonna let her live (But have her fly out of the house and **** some things up on her way out), but if she's gonna die, she should have some "My life back at home is nothing anymore. I came to be the Supreme, and I can't even have that anymore. My acting, my coven, and you, my love, were everything I ever wanted, and now I'm stuck in this ****** town alone." kind of rant before she gives in.

It was more like Supernatural Drama Story rather than American Horror Story.
