And then the parents can come in to do their groceries or fill up their tanks and have it done by their offspring and be filled with pride that their children are part of the adult world which would motivate them to do better in life themselves, increasing productivity

I've literally never been to a station that even offers that option - it's all self-serve up here, throughout Illinois and Iowa (the only states I've had to drive in) and Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio.
