It's quite simple. Beyst her new era was all lined up to be launched at the Super Bowl with lead single Grown Woman. Then the horrible truth about the Inauguration came out and the resulting backlash led to her decision to trash the entire album and use the Super Bowl to get the GP back on her side. It worked out in the end but there lies an entire era of music that the Hive will never hear because the Super Bowl was timed just after the what was arguably the worst publicity Beyoncpe ever received.
