Why are you acting as if she's some new artist who needs to prove herself when she has sold over 150m records, won six Grammys, and grossed half a billion on tour? She can do what she wants now, even if that means not making music that is going to sell. She is a popstar, you are correct, but that doesn't mean anything. Being a popstar doesn't mean she has to do something in order to be a popstar.
You seem to forget that TF and TFM came over half a decade ago. Lady Gaga is NOT that artist and/or person anymore. She is in a completely different mindset now that she has accomplished everything she set out to accomplish. She's almost thirty, she has her own house, and she's getting married.
Not having expectations =/= not wanting her to be ambitious. We all know she's ambitious no matter whats she does. Some of us don't have expectations simply because you can't with Gaga. Having expectations with her is why people end up having meltdowns when she doesn't do what people expect.
Anyways, I personally don't care who she works with lol.

The fact that you think anyone who isn't Max Martin or Stargate are "producers who don't know what they're doing".
She has never worked with an inexperienced producer. Fact. Irrefutable.
And acting as if it's not logical to assume working with MM and co. would = basic is hilarious. You clearly don't know anything about their track record.
