I agree with KNT about her single choices Problem and then Saturday Night.. and she wonders why she's the worlds biggest flop ever.
I don't think there is anything on the album that sounds as an easy pop smash, so I don't think there is anything wrong with the singles. I doubt we would have seen other results with other singles. She just needs some promo.
It's the vocal distortion on that part that makes it not that great.
I don't mind the distortion, in fact I actually quite like it. My problem with it is the actual lyrics. I've hated them since the very first time she performed it live
Stop Me would have had the potential to be one of the best songs on the album if more time was spent on the construction. I mean the verses are great, but the chorus weighs down the quality of the song.

People think Saturday Night and Problem were bad single choices? They're such great songs. Problem reflects the rockier side of the album and Saturday Night reflects the more personal and emotional part of it.
I agree. Although Problem is not my favorite song from the album, I am glad it was a single prior to the release of the album. As much as I like Trouble, I wouldn't like it as a single. I just think it wouldn't have much of an impact. It lacks something, but I can't put my finger on it.
Marlboro Lights, to begin with, was boring but now I'm in love with the song.
Watching You is also constantly on repeat.
Omg, how weird is that..when I was typing up my reply, that's the exact song I had in mind! I mean, I knew it was beautiful, but compared to the other wildly produced tracks, I wasn't feeling it.. And now, it's like my to-go cry-in-a-corner song.
The only song that flaws the album for me is the title track, it has WAY too many 'Oh' 's! With an instrumental and lyrics that strong too what was she thinking? Television has grown on me though, total throwback vibe
