I don't think I've posted my thoughts on the album in here yet
Im pleasantly surprised after hearing the full songs because they are so much better than the snippets, which were pretty lacklustre tbh. Perfectionist is still miles better but Trouble isn't too bad either
Devils Dont Fly, Daddy's Girl, Controversy, Rabbit Hole and Trouble are by far the best songs. DDF is probably her best song out of her entire discography imo
Stop Me and Saturday Night are complete trash tho. The rest of the album is passable and will probably be growers
And the single choices this era have been the pits tho
After Controversy was released as the first buzz single Rabbit Hole should have came next, followed by DDF being released just before the album
KNT: Saturday Night complete trash? Oh well
Stop Me still has chance to grow on me, but it's much weaker than what I expected
___
Will be listening more and more to it today!
Stop Me could become a single but I was a bit disappointed. I still love the song but just not as much as the other songs.
Saturday Night is not trash, it's one of the best songs she's ever made. She made it a single after all...like DDF is going to become a single anytime soon...
I did something bad last night and then the guitar from Trouble kicked in as I was walking through the gates of college on my second day and I was really able to relate.Felt like such a cool moment......
Omg, Saturday Night is probably her best single ever though...
And when I listen to this album, I can't really pick anything else than those two to lead the album imo.
They're the perfect balance between personal and not too much.

I feel like Stop Me doesn't go where it should have went in the chorus

I agree with KNT about her single choices Problem and then Saturday Night.. and she wonders why she's the worlds biggest flop ever.
Saturday Night was perfect, it gained more new fans which is good and it's also her best single really.

Tea spilled
I pretty much agree with everything you're saying!
What has the world come to when people are dragging Saturday Night?
Anyway, I feel like Daddy's Girl or Boys Don't Cry would be the best choices for the next single. Or possibly Trouble or Television. Anything else would really just be a bit silly ulness they wanted to release a full-on ballad.

Boys Don't Cry probably. Trouble should remain on the album imo, it's the best track on the album I think, but I don't feel it being a single Television (without intro ofc) could work though!
