They did submit him to BNA. Also, AOTY, ROTY and Pop Duo.
I don't think BNA will be THAT band heavy. Of Monsters and Men didn't earn enough recognition to get a nomination over Gotye, I don't think. And Lana's debut was panned by critics (for all the wrong reasons, but it does make a difference...)
