c. I don't think Jane's storyline is underdeveloped as much as her character is. The storyline with her son is connected to hers and gives us insight about it. It's just her character who should have gotten more depth.

The parallels were nice between her and her son but I wish there was more backstory as to what happened between her and her father. I suppose that doesn't matter, the whole film sounds like it was made for the Fonda's to show their love for each other and their own relationship. I already love Katharine after watching her all-time worthy performance in The Lion in Winter but this might have been the first time I've seen the senior Fonda and he was great and charming! Will definitely have to check out The Grapes of Wrath soon.

Jane Fonda: The Private Life of a Public Woman any good? It was on clearance at my work randomly for 1.99 so I picked it up lol.
