Hugamari's were farther apart so that probably contributed more than Meowster

I wasn't going to give a 10 out on the first round at first. My highest score for Batch 1 was a 9.5, my highest for Batch 2 was 9.8 and I was completely slain by an entry in Batch 3 so I gave them a 10.

Any guesses?

What I did for each batch was write comments for them all first, then reorder the songs with comments into the ranking of best to worst, and then scored them accordingly. When doing future batches I did the same thing but compared them with my scores of the previous batch, so if a song was between two other songs, I still had room to work with the decimals. I didn't have many duplicate scores, maybe two or three?

That's actually a good idea and I might attempt something similar in the future. I had a lot of ties because I was assigning scores based on a personal rubric I made. I think like four or five people had 7.5 for example.

The personal rubric is a good idea too. It's really just what works best for you, and every judge is different.

Just checked and I actually did have eight duplicate scores, but no three scores were the same.
