If free subscribers rely on Spotify as their primary method of listening to music, most of them won't want to pay $15 to download/buy 25, and will instead just illegally download it for free. So even though streams from free subscribers don't pay a lot, they still pay more than illegal downloads. It's honestly just petty not to put your music on Spotify because it really doesn't make any sense.

yes. and those adults who WANT to buy the album are not going to suddenly not want to buy the album because it's available on spotify. If someone is going to buy it they are going to buy it. Streaming and Sales don't fight each other. Streaming kills piracy.

I think the best thing for her to do is copy Beyoncé and make the singles available but not the album till the era is over. That way she'll give herself more promo from people being able to listen to her songs on Spotify and say "man, this is great. I wonder if the rest of the album is this good."
