Like Usher, Britney was from the generation of actually being influenced and doing her own thing.
A later generation became more copy and paste but she had influences of Janet, Paula adbul and madonna but had her own signature.
You are supposed to take from the greats and make it your own.
You can't say that her career is a compilation of two artists as her tragectory went differently and there are things good/bad in Britney's career that never happened in Janet and Madonna's and vice versa.
Poor Usher, Pink and Britney as they get clumped in with the newer generation or of those in their generation that don't use influence properly

I feel as though Madonna, Whitney, Janet, Mariah and then Britney would round out the top 5...hard to say Britney is top 3.
