Not Myself Tonight was recorded at the last minute too. It wasn't on the albums original vision

And she wanted Candyman to be the second single, but the label wanted Hurt

So I think she's had the right idea with these projects but hasn't been able to get her way

Basically. I remember a member from Ladytron was feeling the experimental vision Xtina had with Bionic, but then said that it was her label who pretty much screwed it up and decided it needed to be more commercial. Then we got Desnudate, I Hate Boys, and NMT.
