My faves HML & Schiesse didn't get the single/video treatment. I'm glad the BTW era is over. But I respect her for releasing something SHE wanted to do.
LOL she's a popstar not a highly respected alternative act.
So basically if this was any other artist who wasn't as relevant as she is it'd be okay ? Where's the logic in that. She knew what she was doing when she made the album. She's already said before that when she released BTW that she knew her fans wanted a little more of TFM or TF. They weren't ready for BTW.
She's making it out to seem like she purposedly did all of it (the underpeformance, flops and all) just to see it...why can't she just say it didn't live to her expectations
I'm still in disbelief that she ignored surefire #1 SMASHES like "Government Hooker" and "Scheisse" for "You and I" and "Marry the Night..." Just like she didn't release "Monster" from The Fame Monster or "Starstruck" from The Fame...
There's no way those songs would have went Top 5. Probably not even Top 10. "You and I" and "Marry The Night" are MUCH more commercial songs.
Who are you to say what a real fan says and does? You eat Britney's **** like it taste good, but when it comes to Gaga you're objectionable and anyone else is a blind fan. Quit trollin
I have dragged Britney for filth on several occasions, get with the program
I dont even stan for Brit anymore
I can honestly say I stan more for Gaga right now than Brit.

But I passed the test either way
That's not what she's saying
She's saying that she knew that the album wouldn't resonate as well with her fans as her other albums. Although the Album of the decade comment takes away from that. She should have never said it drunk or not.

I'm saying she didn't pull a "David Bowie." Just because she was influenced by him does not mean her career parallels his at all.

MTN is disposable but You and I remains one of the gems from the album. Excellent single choice.
I loved BTW. I really did. But after a while, it wore off, I guess? I'm still a fan, through thick and thin, I'll always love her. More than anyone else. So I am a true fan.

She referenced him when she talked about it. She knew what she was doing by changing her sound up and releasing an album that was obviously different from her last two.
