Compared to the mediocre and safe, bland-ass Katy Perry album, this is at least interesting even if Gaga still mostly has her head up her ass. She dialed it down a lot for this effort and even when her lyrics really do push my limits, the production usually takes up the slack
it seems like everybody agrees on which is the better album
This is becoming scary. It's a bit tuneless and dumb but she sounds pretty good and it's not horrible. It's soft, relatable, girly (which helps Katy sell tons).
