Also consider seeing what your school offers in terms of classes on sexuality (they'll be in the sociology / gender studies programs). They can be great for learning the history of the gay rights movement. Take one as an elective, and if you like it you can consider a minor and keep going.
And if you're lucky, they might be taught by someone who's part of the community—potentially giving you a professor you can trust and go to if you ever need to.

Not really sure I want to do a whole course on that. It's not something that I need a lesson on to know anyway or to appreciate. I mean, there's plenty of reason to argue to learning more but that part of history is not very interesting or relevant to my game programming major that I'm aiming for. Still, I'll think on this.
WAIT. Lemme reverse my decision. Maybe I'll get one of those immoral professors that I can sneak around with.
