I'll back a good idea that helps keep things relatively fair for everyone involved. It's why I adopted Spotify early. I mean, I actually just found out about the student discount a month ago and I've already been a college student for 3 years.    
I don't know why people make it an objective to rip people out of their money. That's what's wrong with the music industry. They've been too lax/haven't given more incentive. | 
	
 No, come up with better ways to make people want to purchase music. These new venues (not Spotify or iTunes because they're good at what they do, despite what a handful of celebrities like to pretend) are really silly attempts to "end" pirating. It's not happening. 
I don't think music should be free, but I also don't want to pay $20 for some exaggerated quality or music videos. Spotify, iTunes and YouTube are fine for me, and I'm sure they will be for many others.
