I'll back a good idea that helps keep things relatively fair for everyone involved. It's why I adopted Spotify early. I mean, I actually just found out about the student discount a month ago and I've already been a college student for 3 years.
I don't know why people make it an objective to rip people out of their money. That's what's wrong with the music industry. They've been too lax/haven't given more incentive.
