I doubt DJWS forced himself into that position. I'm willing to bet it has A LOT more to do with availability and their creative compatibility. DJWS is a relatively lowkey producer and is able to offer a lot more dedication to their work than any of the other producers on the album... he probably had the ability to be flexible around Gagas schedule. I think it was mentioned in passing a few times that Gaga did not spend a lot of time with Zedd and Madeon writing after the initial sessions and it really showed once ARTPOP was released.

Why are we blaming previous ballads being turned into dance songs on the producers? You don't think that's what she wanted? You guys really think she's sitting there in the studios and compromising songs based on what producers want? They may suggest it, but they only do it if she wants to. I'm assuming you're talking about TEOG as being a key example... hasn't she shared her vision for it to be 'big stadium' and 'springsteenesque'?

I didn't blame anyone for anything It was just an example of Gaga taking part in the producing process. I said she developed the melodies as she wanted them to sound like on the piano, and then with the help of the producers turned them into dance songs (which is not a bad thing). I meant it in a good way.

I kind of agree, although RedOne was pretty good still on Born This Way, and hasn't been able to show his full potential since then.

Gaga needs to collab with DJ Snake more he was present in some of her best work

DJWS is goof but in small quantities he needs to make like one or two tracks at most

and id really would want her to experiment with new producers
