it depends on who is the next conservative leader and whether they trigger article 50 or not. david cameron said he would trigger it before the vote if we voted to leave but he hasn't so its all down to whoever the next PM is (i think)

I study law so this is all super interesting to me but I have a question....
Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty states the following:

1. Any Member State may decide to withdraw from the Union in accordance with its own constitutional requirements.

The UK is a common law country meaning their laws are not codified.
What exactly are the constitutional requirements then and who decided the boundaries of those requirements?

A brexit seems like so much work I get why Cameron said peace out nn

They could be happy because the consequences of Brexit (so far) aren't as significant as they expected, but in another referendum, would still be happier with a remain vote.

The UK is one of few countries to have an unwritten constitution.

Instead, Parliament passes statutes that have "constitutional" meaning and other sources of the constitution come from the Queen's Royal Prerogative and delegated legislation.

The constitutional requirement would be that the UK Parliament passes an Act of Parliament which makes the UK's withdrawal from the EU legally effective in the UK.

Exactly. So IF we do go through with it that Prime Minister needs to make sure that we get a deal that will also please the other half who voted to stay in to help bring our nation back together.

She was Eurosceptic but kept her head down. The one bit of campaigning that she did that was reported on was basically Brexit-lite with her advocating leaving the ECHR despite the Government not agreeing with her, so I think she'll go through with it.
