It's being released th week after Leona, and I think She is going to be on the X Factor. A number 1 depends on whether or not she is on the show. At this stage of the year, the X Factor has a massive effect on the charts here. The main positive of that is the huge increase in sales. I'd rather Bad Romance sell less and be a number 1 though, historically songs are remembered for their chart positions rather then sales. Bad Romance is far to epic to not be number 1

OK, so the UK get BR tomorrow?

I think it will do good, but won't start charting very high until the video gets released. Although, other songs, e.g. Empire State of Mind have peaked at #2 with no video or promotion, just an early release date.

However, I have a feeling this early release date will ruin its chances at possibly going Top 10, it may just linger around. On the other hand, if it does do very well next week, it's sales will be huge come when it starts to die in December, and it will sure have longetivity.

Although a lot of people at my school know about the song already and sing it, even without a video etc.

Why should we be bias for the first week #1 theory that much? BR will have a chance to reach the top of the chart weeks later with its longevity & promotion in UK alone.

I always send new songs to my favourite DJ (and a friend of mine) of the best party in town. Yesterday he played Bad Romance 9 times.

Nobody knew the song and I jumped around and sang the lyrics xD

After the second time everybody was: Rah Rah ah ah ah...Roma Ro-ma-ma..GaGa uhlalaaaa...want your bad romance!!! They went crazy!

Anyway, I don't see the obsession with BR going to #1 in the UK like Radio and Music Critics and even fans have been going on about. Another Top 10 would be great, shows that she's still here to stay. Top 5 or #1 would be fantastic.

After LoveGame's misery over here, anything Top 20 would do me.

Bad Romance would have been number one had it been released on the 23rd of november. It's going to sell really well this year, but it's going to be blocked from number one now because of the early release

I think this will be a moderate hit, something is not clicking for me, like i said in another thread this sounds dated and reused to me, i like some parts, and i hate others, but its tolerable. It'll go Top 20.
