So am I, it was like that aswell a few years ago (2000 had so many 1 week number 1's) but last year and the year before the trend seemed to have changed. I think this year is just a transition year, and next year songs will spend longer at the top. Having said that alot of the 1 week number one's have had great chart longevity, and most have sold really well.It does piss me off though that La Roux didn't go to number 1 with 'in for the kill', it's the fourth best selling song this year
