Lana is going away even further from pop with UV. That's why it was shocking to me that LP1 is produced AND written by Lana's old team.

I posted how "Two Weeks" is the exact sound Lana should be doing and how it's like BTD but shows growth.

Don't get it twisted tho. UV is a great album (one of the best of the year).

I don't really understand why you're comparing Lana and twigs? They have completely different sounds and images - just because they've used some of the same producers doesn't mean they are similar artists, or that Lana should be making music that's in the vein of twigs' music. That's like saying J Lo should release a song like Bad Romance or Scheiße, because both her and Gaga have worked with RedOne

J.Lo and Gaga is different but the redone songs sound alike? your point?

All im saying is that lana would have ventured into alternative R&B (same as twigs) rather than the soft rock she is doing now.

According to some receipts.

I found some others that say she's still a few thousand copies behind, but she's selling at a way higher rate than Beyst and will pass within a few weeks.

Pure Heroine is top 20 on the BB200 while BEYST is long gone from anywhere near the top.
