I hated it.

Because i thought it was going to be epic after "I'm freeeeeeeeee" usually that what happens after such a verse, but it turned into this weird chorus...


I learned to like UV however, and pretty much understand the concept of the album.

UV is suppose to be filled with horrible awkward melodies. (you know like how EVERY song on there has a weird melody on the verse that doesn't even sound like it should lead you to that chorus)

West Coast is the prime example of that awkward and jarring change on purpose.

Cruel World is a chaotic mess with off key vocal performance.

That's the point of the album. The opposite of BTD so to speak.

It's the better album but UV is an acquired listen. I have to be in the mood. It'd suit winter more whereas the poppier, more accessible BTD is a much easier listen.

I miss the hip hop beats and strings.

My mood and liking of the album change all the time.

Now i'm loving it again after the shocking reveal that LP1 was produced by Emile Haynie (what UV could have been) pass.

Maybe its because of the fact that I don't like rock music.
