She doesn't need to be top priority if she isn't releasing at the same time as whoever is the top priority. Very few artists are selling Platinum these days and Kelly's last effort did that - and she had a 4x platinum single. Labels would still fight for her regardless and make her a priority because she's demonstrated selling power.

Kelly won't be able to release any of pop songs she records if she leaves after the country album, the label owns the rights to the songs not her

The only label I see fit for Kelly is Columbia. She needs more sophisticated promotion. Epic is trash and Interscope is too far up Katy's ass.

I know Kelly released TIU with Columbia Nashville but is she signed to them for country? If not, she should hit up Reba and Trisha for their connects to Big Machine.

I HATE self-titled albums. Even when they are debut albums. It is such a lack of creativity, fantasy. Even if you are completely idealess, you can choose one song on the tracklist and naem the album after it (like All I Ever Wanted...). And naming your 3rd/6th/10th album after you? Avril Lavinge - Avril Lavigne, Demi Lovato - Demi. Please. I think the only acceptable self-titled album is a GH album, like the ultimate GH album released after the singer's career's end or something like that.

Exactly. That was what I wanted to say. We were talking about this when the idea of an unreleased album came up and some people said that she can't leave RCA and then release it because the songs are owned by RCA.

The articles are pretty ignorant about the facts about Kelly and her ring.

But I've seen universal support for Kelly though and the fact that they point out Britain's hypocrisy (and it seems to only apply to foreigners). They've stolen quit a bit of treasure that belong to other nations for centuries but they don't give those back.

Tbh, I don't want Kelly to write for other artists because I don't want Kelly to give them the best songs she writes and she keeps some trash for her own albums. The loss of TMAL is painful enough.
