Die A Happy Man got a 15th week in the Top Ten on BB's Country Airplay Chart, slipping 8-9. Here's what's weird on that chart with the last 4 #1s. The #1 2 W ago has fallen 1-2-5, 3 W ago 1-2-4-6, 5 W ago, 1-3-3-6-8-9, but LW #1 1-10??? Why did the format drop Dibs so hard???

Heartbeat is still gaining in impressions while Break On Me has started losing on MB, so hopefully Carrie still has a chance to reach #1 next week. Carrie leads in streaming, sales, call outs, and requests, so I don't know why Keith Urban got such a big boost at radio over her. I like Urban, but her song is better and has more GP support, and did last week when Urban jumped her.

Carrie still gaining This has been one of the most consistent runs for her on AIs in forever.

The 3 most recent females to score a 2nd career T5 country radio hit are Taylor, Miranda, and Kelsea who in fact just scored her 2nd consecutive #1.

It kinda feels like with Taylor officially departing the genre, DJs feel like they *should* have at least a 3rd female they like enough to play at that level. Esp since even Miranda has been faltering this era (#3, #7, #16, #33). Kelsea's lucky enough to have the right combo of label eager to prove itself + marketability + willingness to play the game.
Awards darling Kacey seems like she's never going to be a radio fave, with her strongest of 5 post-debut singles peaking at #23.

Let's see how Cam and Maren do with their follow-ups; I'm guessing Maren has a better chance because of her youth and more poppy sound.
