then stop saying "certain gays" or "loud gays" or "over the top gays" and just say people. There's no reason to target only the gay men who act that way.
Well I apologize, I only said that because there was a gay guy on the show and maybe I should have worded better, but I'm not this type of person who you might think likes shaming other gays.
I think people seem to be misinterpreting Lukes posts
He doesn't hate fems, he just avoids the loud & obnoxious ones, which is applicable to both both genders
oh ffs. Certain people and the ****ing high horse they rode in on need to **** off
I agree! People who act like they're better than other people because of their differing gender expressions should really stop, leave, and take a hard look at themselves!
I also hate racists, especially those who act like they're on some higher moral ground! They should leave as well!
I don't care for being feminine or masculine, I just am a regular gauy
Overly masculine and overly feminine people make me uncomfortable
lord jesus I just cannot with you honestly

You're talking about STEREOTYPES accelgors. And stereotypes do nothing but hurt and hold people back from progress. There is a negative stereotype associated with gay men and being feminine, and you disliking "those types" of gays is just you going along with the homophobic masses who believe all men should be masculine etc. You need to change your way of thinking.
what i love most about atrl is the fact that most gays here are perpetually the victims and demand that people treat them with respect (woo lord if a celebrity hints they don't like gays or if someone uses the f word!), but then they throw around the d word about lesbians like it's nothing, completely unaware that they're basically oppressing themselves by using such derogatory language. the uneducated masses
ugh, I hate that too.
or when they start to attack all the other letters in "LGBTQA+" like, we have created this community as a place where people with an unconventional sexuality can find strength and support. No matter what their sexuality is or what they identify as, they should be able to come to us and feel safe. Honestly, LGBTQA+ is so much more than just fighting for gay marriage - and it breaks my hear that so many people within the community are able to accept or take others seriously.

Ah, yeah, some of the Bruce Jenner related threads recently, for example... It baffles me that they can be so uneducated about an issue that is, essentially, their own.
Fems seem to be synonymous with irritable characteristics & that's why so many ppl seem to have a problem w/ it
The fact of the matter is, it's only a select few who are loud & annoying but ofc they're brought to the forefront
idk if you guys are even talking about me in half of these posts or if they're mostly directed at luke but i'm not insecure or sexist or whatever just because i haven't had positive experiences with people that are like the effeminate gay stereotype and haven't gotten along well with them. yes straight people are like that too. really, i think i might be wrong and just see it more with gay people because i've been exposed to more areas that attract those kinds of gay people and not those kinds of straight people. maybe i am wrong, but that doesn't mean i secretly hate myself or whatever other assumptions you want to make. jeez
I'm so done with people claiming not to be racist, homophobic, sexist, etc. then spreading the same racist, homophobic, sexist ideology in the same breath
I get that you didn't own slaves but it's a pervasive mentality
Is it too much to ask to carefully watch what you see, say and hear so that
you're not spreading or encouraging the same ol BS

If I can just be honest it seems like this type of prejudice is really only rampant in the gay male community. I don't see this type of stuff in the rest of the LGBTQA community NEARLY as much and I just don't understand why it is this way
