I think my favourite literature to movie adaptation is probably Romeo + Juliet directed by Baz Luhrmann. Simultaneously the worst and the greatest movie I've ever seen
It felt like such an...event? Like how it was hyped up in the opening scenes, and the fact it felt so current. I really enjoyed that movie.

If only Brando had won Best Actor for that movie too. It would probably hold the record of winning every acting category for a single film forever. It's such a different feat to match.
