They're both excellent. Vivien Leigh is what gives 'GWTW' the edge. It's one of the strongest performances ever filmed (the actual strongest being Vivien Leigh in 'A Streetcar Named Desire.')

I think my favourite literature to movie adaptation is probably Romeo + Juliet directed by Baz Luhrmann. Simultaneously the worst and the greatest movie I've ever seen

a random forum members opinion is fact now? this whole myth that books are automatically better than movie adaptations is just a pretentious cry for attention.
