She did! She said that in the same interview where she confirmed she wrote a song called Electra Heart. But if she didn't do that like she said, she probably didn't record it.

Can I just say that this whole Electra Heart concept of Marina is so perfect. The way she campaigns her alter ego. Her tweets about her love life and how she use the term 'homewrecking' to every tour she's been lol. I can't wait what she's going to pull off next. Love love Marina's gimmicks with her albums!

The Family Jewels - all about success, being famous, and being on top of the social ladder.
Electra Heart - Marina's totally disappointing lovelife.
3rd album - ???? I actually want her to have a cartoon futuristic type of concept next.

She did, but on her second tour. So what she's on now is her first tour. It's similar to what she did on performing The Family Jewels live. She did The Gem Tour from like February 2010 to September 2010, and then did The Burger Queen Tour from October 2010 to June 2011. And the second one had a different setlist/she opened with The Family Jewels. So expect to see a live Electra Heart once she has her second tour, whenever that may be.

I like that Valley of the Dolls video by the way! Very creative and cool.

^someone made a thread already for that. I don't think she's really done with it though... I've seen some pictures on tumblr that I haven't seen before where she has blond hair... Or at least one looked pretty new.

edit: also I didn't think about her having a second tour for Electra heart! OMG that'd be PERFECT if she comes to Boston while I'm at school there since she didn't hit Boston on the Lonely Hearts club tour!

I feel like such a flop stan because I didn't really know there were two TFJ tours... I thought it was all the Burger Queen tour...

I'm fine with her not bothering with singles at a point later in all honesty, especially since her archetype video project is long and will be done in a while. I like that it'll be done in a year so that we'll have something to keep us going once EH gets old (for me) and we're waiting on the next album. She needs to release more archetype pictures though. It's kinda been a while.

Also for the videos, I kinda wish that it had been 17 parts with no archetype/Su-Barbie-A interludes and was essentially music videos for every song on the album, but it's not a surprise at all that she isn't doing it that way. Oh well.

Imagine how difficult it would be to film 17 good full length music videos though... It's just not a realistic expectation. They would all be rushed and it would be too much. Although, iamamiwhoami pulled it off...
