I refuse for her to have a huge flop. Looking at you Shampain.

The thing is that there are a couple of differences between Radioactive and Power and Control. Radioactive managed to peak at #25 mainly thanks to her fans (and some casual buyers), and the fact that it was a buzz single (Electra Heart was yet to be released at the time) also had a positive impact on its chart performance (despite the fact that she did not promote it properly).
However, Power and Control has already been included on Electra Heart, which means that the vast majority of her fans won't buy it as they already have it. Consequently, she needs to focus on casual buyers and people who are not particularly familiar with her, and that's where the whole promotion thingy comes in. She DOES need to promote it on TV, and it should get a great deal of airplay, otherwise this single will inevitably go unnoticed.
Honestly, Power and Control was not my favorite single choice. I love it, and it's probably one of my favorite songs on the album, but she should've chosen Starring Role/Homewrecker/Bubblegum Bitch instead. Plus, how come she's releasing HTBAH in the UK? I guess it'll fare well on the charts, but I don't see the point in promoting a song which wasn't included on the album (and I strongly hope she doesn't re-issue it).
