The critics will have no mercy on any Superhero movie that's not great.

Starting from next year the MCU will be delivering 3 movies a year, if DC follows their path they'll start releasing 3 a year in 2018,that'll be 6 movies from Marvel amd DC alone every year. Add Fox and whatever Sony might still do with their Spiderman universe property and there could be year with up to 9 Superhero movies. That's gonna generate fatigue fo sure.

The MCU movies are well received by critics because even if the movie is not great,it's still an enjoyable couple of hours at the movies. And at the end, that's what a blockbuster should be about.

DC & Fox go for a more serious tone and that sometimes can backfire if the story is not good enough to keep it interesting.

If Suicide Squad is a funny mess, critivs might give it a pass. If it's a mess, it'll be destroyed even harder than BvS.
