He's too powerful to keep alive. Also if he was allowed to live then they'd have to do the second season about him to and it'd basically be a rehash of season 2. They had to make way for her character to evolve.

I think they could have developed his character a lot more and gave him more of a back story than the one he had. I didn't like the way he became so obsessed with Jessica.

I thought it worked well, I loved the obsession aspect.

He's someone who got everything he ever wanted, found a superpower lacky who ended up being the first person to ever refuse him. So he become obsessed with getting her to be under his control again thinking it was love. When his powers no longer worked on her he shifted to emotional manipulation forcing her to break from the PTSD once and for all by fighting him. If they threw him in jail it'd mean that he'd pop up again next season to try and kill her and we go around the wheel all over again.

Now her storyline is more open to develop to make him as her origin rather than her archenemy. I'm excited to see how they develop her rouge gallery.

I think it was handled and explained even better than in the comics.

We'll get Daredevil S2 & Luke Cage in 2016, then Iron Fist and The Defenders miniseries in 2017.

I think it will come out same time next year. Daredevil is about to start filming and he is coming out before Luke, who is filming. If Jones gets renewed, they will squeeze her before Iron Fist and Iron Fist will get a spring release after DD in 2017. We will see though because Netflix is not going to let Marvel sit on JJ for two years with no release.

Might do. Three a year isn't much and it's based entirely on audience reaction which is why DD2 was commissioned for another season so fast. They've been having trouble with Iron Fist anyway which is why no real news about it is out.

We also don't know when The Defenders has to be out. All we know is that there's a set time when they want it out.

I actually think Daredevil season two is almost done filming. I'm pretty sure they started filming during the end of summer. I wanna say Jessica Jones production ran for about 4-5 months? (March 2015 - July 2015) So S2 of DD should be wrapping up soon. Luke Cage just started production in October I think.

I can see S2 of DD coming in April and getting Luke Cage sometime in the summer of 2016. Hopefully we get a season two of Jessica fall 2016 and then Iron Fist around the same time? I just can't see them letting Iron Fist sit until 2017.

I love how even though there were so many characters they all got some sort of development

i could have done without most of them though. Ruben, the lawyers ex-wife, and the detective were welcome deaths tbh

Oh great. I can't wait for DD2 and Luke Cage. And I can see them delaying Iron Fist until after The Defenders since they are having problems with it. I hope not, but I feel that is what is going to happen.

I think this was my favourite thing about the series, the character development was so great that almost every character death made me feel awful & hate kilgrave more, but honestly not looking forward to the cop as a potential villain next season, apparently he becomes somewhat of a supervillain actually, idk if its the actor or character I dislike more

yeah i agree. its both the actor and the character. they're both bland and idk how he's going to carry a whole season as a villain

Just finished this series. What a masterpiece

The show was really entertaining. I can't remember the last time i finished a series so quickly.
