The album could have been absolutely terrible (even though I personally think it was going to be amazing), but it was very clear that Britney was very excited for this album and wanted it to be released. I mean, she snuck off to a radio station and gave them a song to play without Jive's permission, so obviously she really cared about this music. It is sad that Jive prevented Britney from releasing music that she clearly had a strong connection to. |
You know what? She really could fight for it to happen if she cared. But she didn't
Songs that were leaked didn't scream smash. Those songs are cool but original doll didn't deserve to happen. I appreciate her work and how hard she wanted it to happen but I'm ok it didn't happen.
