This is getting so messy
But really:
- SM doesn't promote them a lot. They only get one major release a year
- Yet f(x) still pull decent/great numbers in the little chance they get to release each year
Logical conclusion: SM needs to promote them more. If they are selling well with weak promotion from SM then this only confirms their popularity. There has always been a demand for f(x), but SM hasn't been ready to meet it as much as with other groups.
SNSD gets Korean and Japanese releases every year, plus one year they even added English promotions to that, so it's not comparable to f(x)'s one Korean release a year. Obviously SM needs to do repacks for f(x) or export them abroad because they can easily expand in popularity and bring in more revenue for SM.
A flower can't grow properly without being watered, and SM is acting as if f(x) is growing in a desert with no water in sight. They need to put more focus on f(x).
