To tell you the absolute truth, the Spotify Viral 50 is the one chart that I really don't understand at all.
They claim that these are "the most shared tracks" but like 90% of them are songs that no one's ever heard of and never will.
I don't think they claim that they are the "the most shared tracks", but more closely related to how many shares when compared to the number of streams of that track.
While the Spotify Top-50 simply shows the most-streamed songs on Spotify in a particular week, we wanted to create a metric that takes both streaming and user sharing into account.
So some of them are songs you never heard of because even 100% sharing of a song from small number of streams is still a small number of shares.

Jaded is their new single, it was also added to BBC Radio 1 Playlist. Weird choice imo
"Jaded" was announced as the third single from Disclosure when the video came out on September 15. Even the description on the "Magnets" video mentions it.
However, as a side note, "Magnets" was delivered to Australian radios, so I assume it's a single there so far.
