I think Disclosure's team (and Disclosure themselves) did not really care whether this was going to have mainstream success or not.

It was going to have a hard time anyway. I'm surprised it has done so well on alternative, considering that it's not really alternative.

YFB and Magnets deserved to smash so bad...

As I have made clear, I was upset about YFB because it showed decent potential & it hadn't been too long since Team. I'm not nearly as angry with Magnets, which is less mainstream-friendly and subsequently wasn't pushed to the mainstream.

It's arguably more embarrassing to screw up the push (a.k.a. what happened to YFB) than to just not push it, though I wish that it did get a push because it wouldn't do any harm.

Way more pop friendly than YFB. That song had a terrible chorus and was never going to happen.
