Lana probably sold it all in the first couple of days. I think iTunes was just broken and Lana had a bigger lead than we thought initially or perhaps this coincided with a rule change on the charts.
I think so, too. Like, different things are counting as sales to them now. Which might explain Omi bouncing back to #1 when The Weeknd's song is doing a lot better
Disgusted at the fact that people are trying to act as if it's impossible for Lana to sell well. She has a HUGE fanbase. Seriously, stop being so pressed. Lana had been streaming numbers, and was number one on iTunes for quite a while. Stop trying to act like it's not possible for someone other than your faves to be successful. It's sickening.
I honestly think this only reinforces the fact that these numbers are probably real. Who wanted to buy the song, already did. The sales are pretty front-loaded but ain't nobody denying that. She's not a singles artist anyway
exactly. Everyone that wanted the song bought it on its first few days.
The obvious inflation, the shameless payola, the clear chart-trickery to make it seem as though Lana's still relevant. Anyone who genuinely believes these #s are real needs to be checked into a mental hospital. I can't!
The only ones who need to be checked in a mental hospital are you and the guy from your avi. Bye.

That comment + that gif + that avatar has me rolling.

You might forget...Omi is selling the same as The Weeknd...he has 5-6 versions charting inside the Top 1500
That is what I am thinking as well, assuming there was no formula change.
That still shouldn't change the sales numbers, though.
I doubt those numbers are real. Something does seem off, though. DMD's drop is awfully large, and I'm not quite sure how Cheerleader is ahead of CFMF, either.
