There are similarities to BR on two of the hooks, but the verses on Judas are stronger.

Yeah, I never really understood the "Judas is a Bad Romance ripoff" stuff. There are def. similarities, but the songs go together in that way and are completely different all together.

Okay, let's be realistic. There are HUGE similarities between the two. The defining difference for me is the way she sings the verses in Judas. Unfortunately, I feel like they made everything in Bad Romance worse for Judas.

The chorus in BR is definitely better, but, again, the verses on Judas (as well as the breakdown) give me so much life.

But yeah Judas does sound like Bad Romance rip off becuase of the rah rah juda ah ah and the ooh's. Structuring Judas the way she did was STUPID.The "ooo" at the beginning was a horrendous decision. It should have been her yelling something like "JUUUUDAAS!" in a scorned voice and then the guitars, leading into the first verse. The Juda-juda a a couldve come in later, after the chorus. Judas isn't as terrible as people make it out to be. I loove the lyrics and the chorus is beautiful! The breakdown is soo great

At the very beginning, I heard the similarities, but as I continued to listen over and over, the similarities disappeared in a sense. "Judas and Bad Romance have similarities" makes sense to me, but "Judas is a ripoff of Bad Romance" doesn't. The verses and chorus (imo) are different. In fact, Judas sounds like two completely songs to me, which is why I hated it in the beginning.

Judas is def. a fan favorite. People seem to think everyone hates it simply because it didn't catch on in the US, and it being bad is not the reason it didn't catch on, no matter how hard some people try to act that way.
