I started to watch the first episode of Asylum in 2012. Hated the first episode Never returned to it. (And to think, Jude was the one that put me off the most....)
Friend in 2013 got me into Coven as it was airing.... so, I started with it too
I think I watched Asylum after finishing Coven, before I watched MH. I don't remember. But I do remember being SLAIN by both MH and Asylum equally.
That last teaser with the crashing waves and saying "Sweet Dreams" definitely seemed odd to me, and the focus on the tiny toy shop was kind of in your face.
Stupid finale.
Bitch was caught on tape killing and shooting left and right and yet the jury decided she was not guilty?
People still wondering if that was real or not when the entire cast is literally dead.
Lana's appearance was pointless. Flora is a bitch: I WANNA BE A GHOST.
We'll never know what was the witch's deal and why was she recruiting killing ghosts.
Asylum is still the best season.
I think they're about equal, for different reasons. Only above Freak Show. Nothing can be worse than Freak Show

It was still good, though.
Ultimately I think the format worked out very well for the story and I'm glad they did it. The transition to traditional narrative in the last minutes slayed me tho, just awesome to see the world how we're used to.

I liked this season, but this is true.
This Season would have been 10x better if they didn't have the documentary format.
Sarah, and Cuba should have been the real Shelby and Matt the whole time.
Episode five should have been the finale, the whole documentary re-enactment format was unnecessary.
But at the same time, I did like seeing the "real" characters like The Butcher, Scathach, & Edward Mott they were scary af.
Never returned to it. (And to think, Jude was the one that put me off the most....) 
This is the best season for me (maybe bar MH)
