Dance music in general is very popular in Europe so WFL may sound like it's 'in' in that regard, but here in the U.S, techno beats on tracks is NOT popular or the in thing. WFL is the first successful techno-pop song I can think of in the last few years.

Indeed. Apparently the music majors are out today. I thought it sounded more electro than only girl, oh well. I just assume anything that makes me wanna dance is electro tbh.
